Emilie Autumn - A Bit O' This & That (Limited Edition)

A Bit O' This & That is a rarities, b-sides, remixes, and covers from the early years of Emilie Autumn that was released on iTunes on April 23. As reviewed on her website: What discography could be complete without a compilation of ancient b-sides and rarities, not to mention the occasional cover tune recorded while sitting in bed? On "A Bit o' This & That," the classical violin prodigy and collaborator with artists such as Courtney Love and Billy Corgan shares her bizarre and wonderful sense of whimsy, covering songs from Broadway musicals, BBC television shows, and The Smiths, while showing off a ridiculously large vocal range in her own operatic compositions, and followed by the strangest offering of all, atruly original take on "The Star Spangled Banner." What could possibly be more beautifully ridiculous?

Combine the violin mastery of Nigel Kennedy, and the looks of a post-apocalyptic Marie Antoinette, and what do you get? Emilie Autumn. The pink-haired princess of gothic alternative has already morphed her way from classically trained violin prodigy to rock performer with the ability to shred on a fiddle like Yngwie, and with a cult following to match.
